The nightly office cleaning checklist we actually use
A room-by-room breakdown of what a professional janitorial route covers each night — and the four tasks most contracts quietly leave out.
Nightly, weekly or three-day-a-week janitorial routes for offices, coworking floors and professional suites across Marion County.
A janitorial route only works when it is written down. Every WECB account starts with a walkthrough of your floor plan, after which we publish a scope of work that lists each task, its frequency and the crew member responsible. Nothing is left to memory, and nothing quietly disappears from the schedule six months into the contract.
Most of our office accounts run five nights a week between 6:00 PM and 2:00 AM, but we also staff three-night, twice-weekly and daytime porter routes. Daytime porters are common in buildings with heavy lobby traffic, shared restrooms or a busy tenant kitchen where waiting until nightfall is simply too late.
Supervisors inspect each site on a rotating schedule and log the result in a shared report you receive by email. If a task scores below standard, it is corrected on the next visit and re-inspected — you do not have to chase it.
Frequency is set during the walkthrough and printed on your scope of work. Common patterns are five nights per week, three nights per week, twice weekly and monthly periodic work. Changing a frequency later takes one email and a revised scope — there is no renegotiation of the whole agreement.
Recurring work is quoted as a fixed monthly figure based on cleanable square footage, fixture counts and frequency. Periodic and project work is quoted per square foot or per event. Both appear on the same monthly invoice with separate lines so your finance team can code them.

Insurance certificates, crew turnover, inspection records and the pricing questions that separate a real facility partner from the lowest bid.
